Partnering with Suze Orman to Transform Saving Into a Movement

In 2021, Alliant Credit Union partnered with personal finance expert Suze Orman to launch The Ultimate Opportunity Savings Account—a first-of-its-kind savings program designed to reward people for building healthy financial habits. As Creative Director, I helped shape the creative strategy, brand positioning, and campaign experience that brought the partnership to life.

The Challenge

The pandemic had heightened financial uncertainty, and millions of Americans were struggling to rebuild emergency savings. While Alliant offered highly competitive products, awareness outside traditional banking audiences remained limited. The challenge was to create a campaign that would resonate emotionally while reinforcing Alliant's mission of helping members make the most of their money.

My Role

As Creative Director, I led the internal creative team responsible for bringing the partnership to life across every touchpoint. Working closely with marketing, digital, and executive stakeholders, I helped define the brand positioning and creative strategy behind the Ultimate Opportunity Savings campaign.

I also collaborated directly with Suze Orman's creative and production teams to ensure a seamless integration of her voice, message, and visual identity with Alliant's brand. This close partnership enabled us to create an authentic, member-first experience that reflected both Suze's trusted financial philosophy and Alliant's mission of helping people make the most of their money.
